Animals Lost If you, or someone you know, lost an animal, please post it here. Please include the type of animal in your title. Include in the contents of your posting animal, gender, age, where it was lost from, where it was last seen, if someone was reported to have taken the animal, when it was lost, if it has been microchipped, if it has any health issues and needs meds, please update this if the animal is found.
This board is open to view and reply by the public, new posts must be registered members, so we can contact you with any leads.
Any harassment posts will be deleted and the person dealt with. If we do not catch it right away, please email one of the admins to deal with it.
Animals Found If you have found a stray animal, please report it here. Please include all information about the animal as possible, keeping a detail or 2, to yourself. SOmething that the true owner can use to identify the animal. Such as a microchip number, a tatoo, a special scar, a memorable marking or something along those lines. Please keep in mind that the animal could have been lost for months, so please do not include recent, healing scars as identifying marks for the owner to identify with.
Please state where the pet was found, what it looks like, it's gender, if it has tags, if you know if it has been microchipped, and any other information that you may have.
This board is open to viewing by the public and responding to posts by the public, but you must be a registered member to create a posting in case we need to contact you about the animal.
Harassment will not be tolerated and any offenders will be disciplined. If the admin has not dealt with it, please bring it to our attention. As the board grows, it may take us time to see the posting. All harassment will be diciplined on this board, no exceptions.
Vets, The Good, the Bad and The Ugly (2 sub-boards) If you want to know about experience with vets. Who comes recommended, who to avoid (and why) and who should go back to school. This is the place to do it.
If you know of a very good vet, or a very bad vet, please post in the sub boards. If, however, you have a question about a vet, or want a recommendation, please post in this main board.

Resellers, Scammers and Dishonest Persons (2 sub-boards) If you know of someone who is getting animals to resell, is scamming for free animals, is an animal hoarder or abuser, someone who adopted and is (or has in the past) tried (or succeeded) to rehome a rescue or shelter animal, please post it in the appropriate board here. You may be contacted about the posting by the admin, but this is just to verify the information with you, to gather more information about the person or your posting, or to keep you updated, if you like, about the animal that the person currently has (if it is a current situation).
When you adopt from a shelter or rescue, you sign a contract that you will return the animal, should circumstances change and you can no longer care for it.
When you adopt or get an animal from a private person, they do so with the belief that you are going to make the long term commitment that the animal requires.
If, however, it is determined that you are using this board to harass someone (a thorough investigation will be done to get to the heart of the matter), then the poster will be suspended or banned.

Free or Low Cost Services To post here you must be offering a service, or know of a place that is. THis is not a discussion board, but to help get the word out, type of thing. This is for things like low cost vaccine clinics, low cost spay and neuter clinics, cheap dog walkers or cheap pet sitters. If you are able to pet sit and are not licensed, then make sure that you post that you are not licensed, and how long you can sit for, in addition to how much you will charge.
If you or someone you know is willing to help out cleaning cages, or helping with animal care, such as for the elderly, for a small fee, this is the place for it.
We do not do enough to help each other at times, so if you can offer your help for a low compensation, please offer it here. There are many elderly in our area that have pets, but can not take them for walks, or bath them. If you can help them, please post here.
To view this board is open to the public, but you must be a registered member to reply or post to this board. If the admin do not feel that your services are what we consider "cheap" we will contact you. If you have an issue with a service listed, please contact the admin.

Unique or Unusual Services If you offer a unique or different service, such as custom cages, in home grooming or paintings, this is the place to post. This way ppl who are looking for something special for their pets, they know where to look.
